Chester was laid out around an old railroad depot in northern Dodge County. Stewart Septic Services brings dependable septic care to the town and the farmland around it.
Chester is an incorporated town in the northern part of Dodge County, named after Chester, New York. Its original town limits were drawn as a circle reaching one mile in every direction from the depot of the old Wrightsville and Tennille Railroad. Today State Routes 126 and 257 share Main Street through town, and Eastman, the county seat, lies to the south. Stewart Septic Services serves Chester from our home base in Macon.
Erwin Stewart started our company in 1994, and it has stayed family owned and operated ever since. We're BBB Accredited with an A+ rating and hold a 4.8-star rating on Google, and the Georgia Department of Public Health lists us as a certified septic tank installer company. In Chester we handle pumping, alarm repair, pump and float service and complete system replacements.
Homes in and around Chester range from older houses near Main Street to farmhouses scattered across north Dodge County, and many of them rely on septic. Systems with pumps and alarms need attention when a float sticks or a breaker trips, and older tanks may need new baffles or lids. When something doesn't seem right, call Stewart Septic Services at 478-474-2653.
